Monoliths

Material exploration

Monolith is an art direction project built around the tension between primitive structures and contemporary visual culture. Presented as an exhibition study, it explores the permanence of concrete, stone, and elemental forms through a carefully reduced visual language.

The direction treats materials as subjects rather than surfaces, focusing on weight, texture, and silence. Brutalist compositions, raw geometries, and controlled lighting create an atmosphere where architecture, sculpture, and image-making intersect. The work explores visual restraint as a tool for revealing character, allowing imperfections and natural textures to define the experience.
